East African Breweries PLC Partnership

The East African Breweries PLC (EABL) Foundation has signed a landmark partnership with CARE International, committing 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗦𝗵 𝟯𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗨𝗦𝗗 𝟮𝟳𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬) to empower 𝟭,𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 across EABL’s value chain in western Kenya.

The initiative is built on two pillars: supporting 1,500 small-scale sorghum farmers, 60% of whom are women to improve productivity and household resilience, and piloting 𝗧𝘂𝘇𝗶𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗮, a business skills program for 100 Senator Bar owners in Kisumu to strengthen profitability and entrepreneurship.

CARE Kenya and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) collaboration to explore opportunities to advance women’s economic empowerment, youth employment, and SME growth reaffirming CARE Kenya’s leadership in innovation and grassroots solutions.
