Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI)
CARE Kenya and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) collaboration to explore opportunities to advance women’s economic empowerment, youth employment, and SME growth reaffirming CARE Kenya’s leadership in innovation and grassroots solutions.
CARE Kenya signed a structured, strategic and results oriented partnership with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) that will leverage the institutional strengths, networks and mandates of both organizations to advance shared development, economic empowerment and advocacy objectives in Kenya.
This partnership is underpinned by CARE Kenya’s strategic ambition to deepen private sector engagements and diversify its funding base toward private sector and corporate sources which is an ambition for which KNCCI’s institutional platform, networks, and convening authority present a transformative opportunity.
CARE Kenya and Digital Green Partnership
CARE Kenya and Digital Green joined forces to bring the power of AI-enabled agricultural advisory services closer to smallholder farmers across Kenya.
Through a six-month early-scale pilot, Farmer.Chat, Digital Green’s AI-powered platform will provide farmers with localized, on-demand crop and livestock guidance through a mobile interface, leveraging CARE Kenya’s established farmer networks and community platforms.
The ambition is big: reaching 10,000 farmers, with at least 60% women, and ensuring that the digital transformation of agriculture does not leave women and lower-access farmers behind.
East African Breweries PLC Partnership
The East African Breweries PLC (EABL) Foundation has signed a landmark partnership with CARE International, committing 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗞𝗦𝗵 𝟯𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗨𝗦𝗗 𝟮𝟳𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬) to empower 𝟭,𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 across EABL’s value chain in western Kenya.
The initiative is built on two pillars: supporting 1,500 small-scale sorghum farmers, 60% of whom are women to improve productivity and household resilience, and piloting 𝗧𝘂𝘇𝗶𝗱𝗶 𝗞𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗻𝗮, a business skills program for 100 Senator Bar owners in Kisumu to strengthen profitability and entrepreneurship.
